Founded by Liz Dunoon, a dedicated teacher and mother of three children with dyslexia, Dyslexia Daily is built on both professional expertise and lived experience. Liz is the author of four books, including Helping Children With Dyslexia, and the creator of the video-based online tutoring program, The Ten Minute Tutor. Her unique perspective combines practical classroom knowledge with a deep personal understanding of the challenges and strengths associated with dyslexia.

Since her oldest son was identified as a struggling reader and speller at the
age of 6 in 2004 and was subsequently diagnosed with dyslexia at age 10 along with her other two children, Liz has devoted her time to researching and studying dyslexia, becoming a passionate advocate for meaningful change in education through teacher training and educational programs that get results.
Through Dyslexia Daily, she provides programs, free resources, newsletters, and articles designed to support students, parents, and teachers.
Liz firmly believes that with the right support, intelligent children, teens, and adults with dyslexia can truly shine. She champions early screening in schools, comprehensive pre- and post-teacher training, multi-sensory teaching approaches, and the effective use of technology to meet the diverse needs of dyslexic learners.
